PES and FIFA look out - Baz working on new football game

So this year has once again marked an ultimately disappointing couple of releases in the PES v FIFA war. PES is closer to the mark in terms of realism of players turning etc although I still have some reservations about the fluidity in that it is still too fluid and too easy to manipulate average players. PES' scripting on the higher levels has come in for some well deserved criticism. Meanwhile FIFA once again has the total arcade feel to it but nails the presentation and aesthetics.

But there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. It is believed that the only way the football loving gaming scene will get to seeing something representing total football is to get it from a third party source. With gaming companies wanting sales and pandering to the pick up and play crowd it's little wonder that the hardcore are longing for a game that mirrors the difficult intricacies of football.

Well here's some hope here.

This is very much work in progress from a guy called Baz who can be contacted here -

It is still early stages but what can be seen here looks very, very impressive from a single guy. Perhaps with a bit of time and space Baz can make something quite incredible. Have a watch.
