Football Tips - Fantastic Wednesday. French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and EPL

There's a huge range of games on today to whet the appetite. The first game that stands out is Bastia v Brest. Bastia have the home advantage and they are 13th to Brest's 14th in the league. They do tend to ship goals but at 3.4 this really is too good value to turn down. Pit says £10 @ 3.4 for a home win.

Montpellier v Sochaux is next and at 8.2 for a Sochaux win, after winning their last 2 games the value lies here. £3 @ 8.2 for Sochaux.

Nice, £5 @ 1.73 v Nancy is the next selection. Nancy are rooted to the bottom of the league and Nice have two league wins on the bounce to boost them.

PSG should also have no issues defeating Toulouse and at 1.6 Pit would back a £10 bet.

Bursaspor have an excellent league record, in fact they haven't lost a league game since the 5th of Nivember. Meanwhile Fenerbahce's form hasn't been too hot of late. But, at 2.02 I'd have to side with the home team to go through at £5.

FC Sevilla play Zaragoza in the Spanish Cup today also. Sevilla are currently 1.43 which is not that great when you consider that they are 12th and 13th in the league respectively. At a whopping 9.6 I'd have to side with Zaragoza. They haven't won in three league matches so now is the time for turn that poor form around by getting a cup win. £3 @ 9.6.

The big match of the day is arguably Roma v Inter. Roma normally come out all guns blazing inside the first 10 minutes of any match literally running left right and centre to get that goal at all costs. The last league match though saw Inter weather this particular storm and fight back to gain a 1-1 draw after a contentious Roma penalty. Roma looked very leggy and very jaded. This is why Pit feels that £5 @ 3.95 is the way forward with an Inter Milan away win.

The traders got it all wrong in the last match between the two a few days ago where Real hammered Valenica 5-0. They gave odds of 2.08 and have appeared to have learned their lesson....slightly. Pit is backing Madrid £10 @ 1.76 for another win.

And finally Chelsea should beat Swansea at the Liberty in the Capital One Cup. Chelsea are looking very dangerous at the moment and they have quality right through the team. Swansea are great dark horses but I feel that there will be too much quality from Chelsea. At 1.86 I'd opt for a £10.
