Farage has to be clear and concise on every issue. Whilst the two main parties jostle for position over what sounds best to the public and generally taking the middle ground on almost every conceivable issue, UKIP has a real chance to define itself as a party on its own. It may lose some followers, but the benefits I believe in stating their claim and nailing their colours to the mast will no doubt grab that crucial right of centre vote.
The issues UKIP have to be strong on are Europe, immigration, together with outlining coherent believable fully costed economic policies. UKIP can no longer be dismissed. The Tories will never shrug off the millionaires' friend reputation, whilst Labours reputation is still in tatters after their economic mis-management and the inability to put someone charismatic and confident to the face of Cameron. Miliband is about as light as they come and unfortunately just doesn't grab the voter.
Caroline Flint is also on the panel tonight in which I make no bones about if I say I hope she gets mauled.
