'Plastic’ princess slur at Kate

 

PRIZE-winning author Hilary Mantel has attacked the Duchess of Cambridge as a “plastic” princess whose only purpose is to breed.

In a bizarre rant, she said Kate was “designed by committee” and “without character”.
Mantel, 60, whose Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies are set in Henry VIII’s time and earned her the Booker Prize twice, said Anne Boleyn had more personality.
She told an audience at the British Museum the “only point” of Kate was to give birth.
