Today's Bets

Jonjo Shelvey. Looking for a card.
Swansea City host Burnley today and the Welsh outfit should have little difficulty seeing out this match I believe. Burnley's first taster of Premier League football gave them some instant highs when they took the lead against Chelsea only to see they get pegged back in double quick time. This may be a long afternoon for Burnley if Swansea decide to keep ball like they do so well.

The Swans will also be boosted by that first league result too against Manchester United and a good crowd with good weather should roar them into two wins from two. Swansea to win outright is 1.67, but I'll be a little more adventurous.

Jerzy Janowicz also plays tonight, and after losing the first set to Sam Querrey in the semi final and winning, surely now has the mental aptitude to see the tournament out. Janowicz outright is 1.70, but I'll be looking at giving him a slight disadvantage; so the -1.5 games at evens with PaddyPower looks the ticket.

Swansea -0.5,-1.0, 1.80.
Jerzy Janowicz -1.5 games, 2.00.
